What is Invisalign®?
Invisalign® is an orthodontic treatment that uses removable aligners made from clear plastic, which are less visible on your teeth than traditional metal braces. These aligners are individually made to fit comfortably over your teeth and are replaced every two weeks by our dentists. This encourages your teeth to move gradually, week by week, until they reach their final position.
Why choose us?
At Freedom Dental, we care about your dental health. That's why we offer a complimentary Invisalign® consultation at our practice, where you can learn all about the treatment, costs and any possible risks involved. We'll make the time to listen to your questions and concerns to help put your mind at ease.
Our clinic is equipped with the latest technology to improve the accuracy and comfort of your treatment. Instead of taking a traditional putty impression of your mouth, we use the iTero® or Trios Digital Impression System to take consistent and quality digital impressions of your mouth. This enables us to plan your treatment with reduced margins of error and to make real-time adjustments along the way.
We can also generate a virtual treatment plan using ClinCheck® software, which offers a guide to the series of movements your teeth are likely to go through over the course of your treatment, although results may vary.
Dental Spa Experience
We've designed our dental clinic to be as comfortable and relaxing as possible to help our patients feel at ease. When you visit us, you'll be provided with warm, scented towels and blankets and you're encouraged to relax with soothing music and hot and cold beverages of your choice while waiting for your appointment.
We know your time is precious to you. That's why we aim to cater to people on the go and with busy schedules. Early morning, late and Saturday appointments are available, and we try our best not to keep anyone waiting.
You won't have to worry about any hidden costs during your treatment. We'll provide a detailed written quote before you decide to begin that lists all the inclusions. If you already have a quote from another provider, we'd be happy to beat it.
Who is suitable for Invisalign®?
Invisalign® has helped over four million people worldwide to correct mild orthodontic issues such as overbite, underbite and crossbite, crooked or crowded teeth and gaps. However, the treatment is not as effective at treating more severe orthodontic issues, which may require a different option.
We'll let you know if you're a suitable candidate for Invisalign® when you come in for your appointment. Invisalign® is generally recommended for older teenagers and adults.
What Invisalign® options do we offer?
As well as standard Invisalign® braces for teenagers and adults, we also offer a range of additional Invisalign® products that cater to different needs.
If you're considering braces for your teenager, we may suggest Invisalign® Teen if they would prefer a more discreet option. Invisalign® can be attractive to teenagers, as the aligners are much less noticeable compared to traditional braces.
If you're concerned that your teenager might not wear their aligners for the recommended 20-22 hours per day, we can provide colour-based 'compliance indicators' that offer you and our dentists a rough guide to how long they've been worn.
If you only have a minor dental issue, such as a slightly crooked tooth, small gaps between your teeth or you've had orthodontic treatment in the past that has relapsed, you may be a candidate for Invisalign® i7. This treatment is specifically designed for these types of issues, and depending on your situation, it may be completed in as few as seven stages or three months.
Suitability for Invisalign® will be determined by your examining dentist. All other treatment options, including risks and benefits, will be discussed during your examination. We suggest seeking a second opinion for all cosmetic or orthodontic procedures.

The next step...
Your treatment journey commences with a complimentary information session with one of our treatment co-ordinators. Click here for terms and conditions. They will provide you with general information about treatment options, our practice and give you a tour of our beautiful dental spa. The next step would involve having an orthodontic assessment with one of our dental practitioners.
After an initial assessment, all your treatment options, risks, limitations and the process involved are discussed. If you choose to proceed with Invisalign®, you will then move onto further diagnostic appointments. If you are interested in traditional metal braces, we can book you to see Dr James Lailah, otherwise, we can also arrange a referral to our referring Orthodontist, if you would like to pursue or other forms of orthodontic treatment.
Please note that suitability for Invisalign® treatment must be determined by a dentist. We suggest you seek a second opinion for all invasive procedures.
Terms and Conditions
**Treatment price will be individually quoted on a case by case basis.
***A free no obligation one-on-one information session is available to learn more about the Invisalign®, invisible braces procedure. Prices may be subject to change without notice. A dental examination is required prior to treatment where one of our dentists will conduct an initial orthodontic examination, explain your treatment options, perform diagnostic work. You may also be recommended to have a hygiene appointment. The fee for this, if you have it at the time of your examination will be $150. The Diagnostic work up includes a work up appointment using the latest I-Tero digital scanning technology and also includes an OPG, lateral ceph and photographs. Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner. We are a general dental practice and can arrange a referral to an orthodontist.
Invisalign® treatment starts from $2,150 for Invisalign® i7 which is suitable for patients with very minor crowding or orthodontic relapse. Invisalign® Full, Teen and Lite treatments vary from $2,150 to $8,150. Only your treating dental practitioner can determine which Invisalign® product is suitable for your needs depending on your treatment complexity. The cost of treatment includes an initial examination by our Dentist, diagnostic records including x-rays, by-monthly aligner-fitting appointments for the duration of treatment and aligners. Lost or broken aligners and retainers may incur an additional fee. Patients must have had a general dental check-up within the last 6 months to ensure their dental work and oral hygiene is up to date and are clinically ready to be treated with Invisalign®. A general dental check-up is not included in the treatment fee. Patients are required to pay a deposit before proceeding to treatment. No refunds available. Additional fees and charges are payable.
