Our cosmetic dentists in Melbourne will discuss all the different treatment options available at our dental spa, and help you plan your personalised smile makeover. We'll make sure you have all the information you need every step of the way, so you can make fully informed decisions.
If you want to whiten your teeth or remove stains and discolouration, you may be eligible for teeth whitening treatments. Our cosmetic dentists can whiten your teeth in just one hour at our dental clinic, or you may prefer a take-home whitening kit to whiten your teeth in the comfort of your home, however this takes longer to see results.
Freedom Dental uses Philips Zoom Teeth Whitening technology, which can whiten teeth by up to eight shades* and is customised to each patient's unique needs. The system includes desensitisers to minimise discomfort and help protect your tooth enamel during the treatment.
If your teeth are crooked or stick out, Invisalign® removable aligners can help straighten them over a period of time. These aligners are made from clear plastic that's less visible in the mouth compared to traditional metal braces, and this can make Invisalign® more appealing to adults and older teenagers who want their teeth straightened but don't like the appearance of braces.
We'll let you know if you're a suitable candidate for Invisalign® during your check-up, or if you would benefit more from another orthodontic treatment. We'll also make sure you understand what the treatment involves and the risks associated with it.
Another option for masking slightly crooked teeth is veneers. These thin porcelain shells are placed over the front of the teeth to straighten their appearance. They can also help to cover up stains, small chips or cracks and minor gaps, although they can't straighten your original teeth or correct more severe orthodontic issues.
Veneers can instantly change the appearance of your teeth and they can last for many years when you take good care of them. We'll assess your suitability for veneers during your appointment.
If you have a 'gummy smile' and you want to reduce the visibility of your gums, a gum enhancement treatment can help you achieve a more balanced smile. This may involve removing or reshaping the gingival (gum) tissue or crown lengthening treatments to increase the size of small teeth.
If you want your lips to look fuller, we can enhance their size or pout using cosmetic injections.

Attend a free information session
Attend a free information session with one of our treatment coordinators. Learn about our dental clinic, our dentists and the types of treatments we can offer in your session.
Examination and creating your treatment plan
We'll help you to organise a check-up with our principal dentist, Dr John Hagiliassis. Dr John will perform a thorough examination of your mouth to identify any oral health issues that should be addressed before cosmetic treatments can begin, and you can discuss your desired outcomes from a smile makeover.
Dr John can then develop your personalised treatment plan using our advanced diagnostic equipment. We'll provide a full breakdown of all the costs involved before you commit to anything, so there won't be any surprises.
Review the plan and begin treatment
Once you've viewed your treatment plan and consented to treatment, Dr John will organise follow-up appointments for each of the treatments involved to help you create your new smile. Depending on how many treatments you've chosen, this can sometimes be an extensive process, and we'll work with you all the way to make it as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
